As in, after the big January thaw, it is revealed what the snowplow from a month earlier has shared. To a snowplow, snow and yard are the same thing.
Compare to 2008, when the snowplow plowed up the actual driveway, manifested as a faux fin. This is partly why we finally have a new driveway.
