Whomp! There it is.

This is our last spring with a slate roof. And it's this roof's 104th spring. Snow slides off of slate roofs in big chunks, so we have become accustomed to the big whoomps after storms. Witnesseth.

Leaving some extra crunchy stuff to shovel.

I estimate the final snowfall to be 12-14 inches. Thus the Weather Channel was off by about three quarters of a foot.

 Meanwhile, since it's a warmer storm, and it got above freezing when the snow stopped, we were able to get all the way down to pavement. Woo hoo!
