Dam fine
We live near the Ben Smith Dam, built in 1840 to create the sluice that powered the mill. Ever try to sing the word sluice? I had to eschew a setting of a Louise Bogan poem that used the word because the singer didn't want to sing that word. Ever try to sing the word eschew? Ever try to say it?
