I walked downtown and back in order to have Buffalo wings at the Halfway Café. Here's what I saw.
In certain parts near the river, the trees are either colorful or completely bare.
Automatic teller machine machine inside.
Nason Street and Main Street converge in Maynard. These are the only two streets that constitute downtown.
The Assabet River, which with this mill has powered Maynard since 1840.
The Assabet looking in the other direction.
From the bridge near the dam that created the sluice that powered the mill, etc.
This is the water that escaped the dam.
And back to my own house, where the ex-foliage is obscuring the new driveway.
